Summary
As the world moves toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions, it is vital to improve how renewable energy technologies are used for heating, cooling, power generation, and energy management. Recent advances in solar energy, electric vehicles, energy storage, smart grids, and thermal systems have created exciting opportunities for improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. While integrated solutions are key to maximizing benefits, research on individual components and systems is equally important for enabling future integration.
This Special Issue welcomes both holistic studies on integrated renewable energy systems and focused research on specific technologies. We encourage submissions from a wide range of topics in both thermal and electrical energy systems, especially those with potential applications in buildings, transportation, or smart energy networks.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
·Solar-assisted heat pump and refrigeration systems
·Thermal energy storage and phase change materials
·Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and smart charging integration
·Hybrid renewable energy systems for buildings
·Heat exchangers and thermal management in energy systems
·CFD and system modeling of integrated energy systems
·Smart energy management and control strategies
·Energy storage technologies and grid integration
·Energy Modelling, Simulation, and Optimization Techniques
·Low-carbon HVAC Systems Using Renewable Energy
